Who we are – Moxba Innovations

Our roots

Founded in 2009 by Dr. Scott Volner in Rolla, Missouri, Catalytic Innovations started with one clear mission: to create high-purity zinc micronutrient fertilizers. Through research and innovation, the company secured a stable zinc supply and developed premium products that quickly gained market recognition. From our original Twitty plant, we expanded operations to a second facility, building the foundation for what is now Moxba Innovations. “Thank God for another great day in the Ozarks.” – Dr Scott Volner

Growth Through Innovation

In 2020, we opened a new production facility dedicated to EDTA-based micronutrients and established a cutting-edge R&D centre, where Dr. Scott Volner and Dr. Caleb Hull lead the development of next-generation agricultural solutions. Our focus: continuously improving our portfolio and creating new formulations to meet the demands of modern agriculture.

Becoming Moxba Innovations

In 2025, Catalytic Innovations proudly joined the Moxba Group, a global leader in the metal industry. With this merger, our company was renamed Moxba Innovations LLC, combining U.S. expertise in micronutrients with Moxba’s worldwide scale in sustainable metals. Together, we deliver stronger capabilities, broader innovation, and global sustainability impact – from agriculture to advanced industries.

Locations
